Five for Friday: January 30, 2015


Happy Friday! And a slightly late Happy New Year to everyone!  Hope 2015 is off to a great start for you all.  The 2014 year ended quickly, and 2015 shows no signs of slowing down.  In the interest of putting a stop to my slacker tendencies and dusting the cobwebs off of this blog, here are five things I hope to be writing about in the near future:

Sauce & Rub Reviews

In the last half of the year, I’ve gotten quite a few excellent products that I’ve been using successfully that I need to write about.  So be on the lookout soon for some reviews of products from Country Chef Grilling Sauce, Mike D’s BBQ, and Rocky Top BBQ Co.

Travel Recaps

The year 2014 presented me with lots of travel throughout the year.  Along the way, I had a chance to stop at several BBQ joints.  Some were highly acclaimed.  Some were spots that were well-received locally.  And some were places that I just wanted to check out.  Be on the lookout for some of those soon.

Big Green Egg Stuff

As you may know, I know have a Big Green Egg in my arsenal.  Count on reading about adventures, trials, and tribulations in using my Big Green Egg.

News Snippets

There is always something in the news that is BBQ or grilling-related.  My goal is to help keep you aware of what’s going on out in the mainstream world when it involves cooking in the great outdoors!

Random Stuff

Who knows what else I’ll end up writing about?  Even I don’t know… Could be contests and giveaways.  Could be recipes.  All I can say is… stay tuned.
