A month or so back, I was asked by Tim Smallwood (one of my fellow team members on Team Tucker Cooker for Memphis in May) asked me to try out his sauce and give him feedback. Normally I would try it out and give feedback without writing about it on here. Well I tried it out, and quite honestly, this is a sauce you need to know about and try out as well! This is Tiger “Q” BBQ Sauce!
I like to keep up with various BBQ blogs around the Internet. One of those blog is The “Q” Review. Derek is constantly cranking out reviews of various BBQ sauces, rubs, and other items. He will also run the occasional contest. Some time back, he ran a giveaway that I was fortunate enough to win. The prize: Bill’s Best Organic BBQ Sauce.
About 2-3 weeks ago, my wife was out running some errands. While she was out, she called me to let me know that she had some sauce for me to review. It caught me off-guard, but I got excited when she told me who she met. Heather went to The Meat House here in Charlotte to pick up some chicken. That day, Scott from Outta the Park BBQ Sauce was there doing a demo. So now I present to you a review of a sauce that I’ve looked forward to reviewing – Outta the Park BBQ Sauce.
This late-night post (which some of you may see first thing in the morning) is less of a product review and more talking about how I used a couple of products to make something tasty.
It’s not very often that I get to try a sauce that has not been released to the market yet. Recently I won an online giveaway to be one of the first people to try out their new sauce – Stubb’s Sweet Heat. I want to share with you my initial thoughts and impressions on this new sauce to be on the market soon! Continue reading “Checking Out Stubb’s Sweet Heat Bar-B-Q Sauce”
Not too long ago, I did a review of the Cajun Sweet Applewood Jalapeno BBQ Sauce on some burgers. They turned out really well. So I turned my attention to another one of the offerings from Daigle Family Co. — Cajun Sweet Pecan Garlic BBQ Sauce. This sauce placed 2nd in the BBQ Blast Sauce Contest, so it’s bound to be good!
I had chicken thighs. I had BBQ sauce. Lots of BBQ sauce. And I have a Weber kettle. Let’s cook some chicken!!
I’m a firm believer in Mike Espey’s line of Country Chef Grilling Sauces. They stand out from other sauces because they really emphasize freshness in their flavor profiles. I’ve done a couple of reviews on this line of sauces which you can view here and here. Today let’s check out the Country Chef Honey Grilling Sauce.
Not too long ago, I did a review on Doomer’s Original “Q” Sauce. When Todd sent me this sauce to review, he also sent his other two sauces — Dark and Hot & Spicy. Today you’ll see what I think about his Hot & Spicy Sauce.
A couple of months ago I won a bottle of KLB’s “That’s Good Mustard” BBQ Sauce in a Twitter giveaway. I finally had the chance to do a big product test cook this past weekend, so let’s take a look at this mustard sauce from South Carolina!
