Not too long ago, The Shed re-released their suite of sauces and marinades with a new label and a “junk free” declaration. I’ll go through each of the offerings I was sent by the great folks at The Shed in individual blog posts. Today let’s check out the Southern Spicy Sweet Shed Spread.
Back in December, I was contacted by Michael Moran from Snazzy Gourmet asking if I wanted to review some of the sauces that are carried on the site. Absolutely! I’m always game for trying out sauces. Today’s review is one of the sauces I received from Snazzy Gourmet. From the heart of Atlanta GA, here is Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q Sauce.
It’s been a while since I’ve done a sauce review, so let’s fix that. This is a sauce I’ve had for quite some time now that I’ve been itching to try out. From my home state of Mississippi, here’s Ubon’s Sauce!
I seriously considered publishing this blog on Valentine’s Day and leading off with some line referencing a Crazy Bitch. But then I thought better of it, realizing that may not be the best move in my book. So instead I will wax poetic on trying out a trio of sauces from Crazy Bitch Gourmet Sauces – Sassy, Hott, and Chicken Shit.
One thing I’ve learned about BBQ is that you meet people fast. Everybody that you meet either knows somebody or knows a person that knows somebody. Connections are a wonderful thing! One of the people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting on the competition circuit is Jerry from Redneck Scientific. I have him to thank for getting me connected to the guy who makes the sauce that is the topic of this review – Smokin’ Skullies “Just Leave the Bones” BBQ Sauce.
This review is long overdue. I’ve had this sauce for quite a while and have been using the heck out of it. Sweet and heat is the name of this sauce. From southern California, here is Rooftop BBQ Competition Style Sauce.
I’m waaaaaaaay behind on evaluating and reviewing sauces. Now that I’m a few months into my new job, I’m getting back into the swing of things with reviews. To get started, let’s take a look at this sauce from Graettinger, Iowa. This is Sin Bin BBQ’s House BBQ Sauce.
